Jeff
Hiller is an actor and comedian living and working in New York City.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Jeff is a graduate of Texas
Lutheran University with a major in Theatre and Theology (it made
sense at the time). This led to a career in Social Work in Denver,
Colorado, first as an outreach worker and then as a pre-test counselor
at the STD clinic. After deciding to pursue acting full time, Jeff
moved to New York city to study and perform. He received training
in improvisation from the world famous Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
Jeff is a part of the Harold Team, "CREEP” at the UCB Theatre.
He also performed and co-wrote “A Piece of Bullsh*t Pie”
with his sketch group, "Police Chief Rumble which won the ECNY
award for Best Sketch Group of 2004.
Jeff is also an actor with several New York Credits, including the
200 Fringe Festival hit, “Silence!” (The musical version of "The Silence of the Lambs"). Jeff won an individual Performance Award for playing boozy dame, Molly in "The Children" at the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and was a part of the Scott Schwartz directed "Lil' Abner" at the Goodspeed Opera House. Jeff has also been seen as a gay frat-boy in the over-the-top gore-fest, “Kilgore: The
Musical” at the UCB Theater, as the class president in the interactive,
retro-licious, 80’s love-fest “Awesome 80’s Prom”
at Webster Hall, and as Ulrich, the god of Rock and Roll in "Air Guitar: The Musical.
Jeff was a regular cast member of the hit MTV prank Show "Boiling
Points", and on FUSE's first scripted show, "The PA" and has been seen as a talking head on VH1's "A2Z"
and the special, "The 25 most Cheestastic TV Stars", as
a gay prostitute in an episode of FX's "Starved", and as
the confused and brainwashed roboth "Nano" in FoxKids "Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles". He has also been seen on NBC's "Late
Night with Conan O'Brien".
Jeff has also performed in several student films, many, many readings,
an instructional play about epilepsy, and as a scary butler in a theme
restaurant. He hopes the latter doesn't cause you to judge him.
